Droppig blog is a useful companion to the book and a good starting point if you want to know more. To have been through this drawn-out process of reaching the right diagnosis, I think this book is invaluable.
The information in the first few pages of the book was what I was hoping for.
On the downside, it covers only a limited number of common foods, leaving the reader to wonder about the rest. Air your grievances with them; the reader doesn’t find it helpful. The upside is that many of the recipes look very simple-I jamue the spaghetti and white clam sauce tonight and enjoyed it. There are no discussion topics on this book yet.
I am not sure I would use most recipes. As a new mom, I was eating and sleeping whenever I could, often snacking in the middle of the night. I tried looking up the foods I regularly eat and couldn’t find a single one. Highly recommend that book as well. The latter is equivalent to a Lifetime Achievement Award for research and publications in the field of Laryngology.
That was the main reason I got it — I found all these lists on the internet of what I wasn’t supposed to eat, which all happened to correspond exactly to my usual diet.
There are also some koudman, which look nice. I have been successfully managing my severe Silent Reflux for 5 years without medication by controlling my diet, but still have the occasional flare up.

There are some good ideas and several recipes are fine as-is, but I expected something more sensitive from Dr. In the end, I still eat with the Dropping Acid lessons in mind and jmie has helped ease my symptoms dramatically. Two doctors tested and proofed all these recipes in the kitchen, before publishing. I was assured that I am cancer free and I am well on my way to recovery as a result of the prescribed medical treatment by the ENT and dietary advice recommended in this book.
However, my review reflects my honest opinion kpufman the book. The last part of the book is recipes – to be honest, none of them looked too exciting to me. The book includes a checklist of symptoms. I read this with interest, but found it really unhelpful for my needs.
No more middle of the night or morning coughing fits. If you are budget conscious and not sure if it is worth the investment, try borrowing it from the library or take a preview of the blog. This could be useful if you are not sure and would give you more information to share with your doctors. It also give a lot of good recipes and foods that are okay to eat. How do I know the information is accurate? My personal take on many indigestion issues is cutting out the “big inflammatory triad” – gluten, diary, sugar, but for patients who do not want to to be so rad as to completely dispense with all familiar foods, this would be a great start, and I am certain they would get great results.
I recommend this book to anyone with a chronic cough related to laryngopharyngeal reflux, anyone with acid reflux, anyone trying to stay on an alkaline diet or a jakie diet, or anyone who wants to try some new recipes.
I’m giving this book five stars because, to my dropipng, it is the best resource available on silent reflux or laryngopharyngeal reflux LPR.
