I loved this trilogy and found it impossable to put down. Even if at the same time is a criticism. And the magic within the book is also quite good. It’s just like there is only one nation and the rest of the world is just sitting watching. The Rover was an Alyx Award winner. The men are not all tall and muscular.
This book took me a long time to finish. He is just there. Perhaps it will resonate more with fans of the game.
Hellgate: London: Exodus
The novel is written from the perspective of both characters and switches between lohdon two approximately every few chapters. There are a couple of questions to be answered but I put the game down a lot more than this book.
Mel Odom doesn’t ease the reader into the setting of Hellgate but rather pushes the reader off a cliff straight into the confusing mass of burning buildings and hordes of invading monsters overpowering a group of tachno savvy knights known as the Templar.
I felt that he was undoubtly an evil being. Mankind, driven in retreat to the sanctuary of the Underground, struggles to survive the Hellish apocalypse.

Additional terms Terms of transaction. Perhaps this is because this book is a tie-in product, either way, since the game is no more available, the story hanged without a satisfactory ending. But there are the Templar who have been preparing for this invasion since the 14th century. Only the Templars, an ancient brotherhood of knights now equipped with high-tech battle suits and magic-enhanced weaponry, stand in their way.
You then delve deeper into the Hellgate territories as the story splits in two and one side is a Templar warrior while the other is a young man that’s learning more and more about an odd power he posesses.
Exodus is a book based on the Hellgate: For centuries the Templar believed destroyed long ago have been hiding und This book was my first introduction in the world of science fiction and I have been hooked ever since.

Among the survivors are those who foresaw the coming of the darkness, those who see it as an opportunity to improve the standing of man, and those who seek revenge for what was lost. I was more than pleasantly surprised. That was enough to have me glued to the pages.

I chose this book as I was looking forward to the game which I didnt actually get lol but the story had so many twiats and turns it was a good read. Character development is slow, and by the end of book 3 which in the book, span several yearsthere are no significant progress of the main story.
The story and relation between the 3 main faction is interesting, and the character is well written. Overall, a good book but not one that I would have to necessarily own.
Just stupid, senseless battle.
